Robin Boston, 51, of Cumberland, MD suddenly passed away May 26, 2025 at UPMC Western Maryland.

She was born July 2, 1973 in Cumberland to the late Clayton Smith Jr. and Sandra Kay Robinette. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five aunts and uncles, and many members of her extended family.

Surviving is her husband, Matt C. Palasik; children, Chris Palasik and significant other Eesha Bokil, and Brianna Palasik; a half-brother; many cousins; and a large extended family.

Robin graduated from Fort Hill High School with the class of 1991; and then received her associate's degree in Psychology from Allegany College. She had a career at CareFirst Blue Cross / Blue Shield and most recently had the title of Functional Analysis.

She enjoyed playing cards and going out for Bingo. Loved spending time with her family, especially watching them bowling.

Friends and family will be received for a visitation on Friday, May 30th from 4 to 6:00 p.m. at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland. In accordance with her wishes there will be no funeral service and cremation will follow the visitation.
