Ronaele "Ronna" Michele Layman, 55, of Cumberland passed away on February 24, 2024 at UPMC Western Maryland with her family.

She was born October 30, 1968 in Anne Arundel County, MD to Ralph and Karen Layman. Proceeding her in death were her grandparents, Mildred & Glen Douthitt and Eleanor & Benjamin Dorsey.

Ronna graduated from Meade High School in Anne Arundel County. She loved spending time outdoors especially camping and fishing. Ronna dedicated herself to her taking care of her family and raising her son.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her son, David "Dee" Layman; a brother, Ralph Wayne Layman Jr. and wife Jennifer, and their children, Emma Johnson, Autumn Layman, Ralph Wayne Layman III, and Summer Layman; an aunt, Linda Miller and husband Steven; an uncle, Roy Douthitt and wife Paula; her cousins, Lisa, Lynn, Glen, and Lori; and her very special friend, Diane Propst and her daughter Shyann.

In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and internment will be private in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, MD.
