Ronald Lee Conner Sr. 72, of Carpendale, WV passed away January 7, 2025 at UPMC Western Maryland.

He was born in Cumberland, MD on April 10, 1952 to the late James and Arwanta Conner. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife of 41 years, Betty Ann Conner; and his brother, Russell Conner.

Ronald was a graduate from Ridgeley High School in 1971. He had a career as a carpenter both self-employed and for several companies.

He loved the outdoors and spending time hunting and fishing with his sons. Ronald was a member of On Fire Ministries in Cumberland.

Surviving are his children, Heather Marie Steinmetz and husband Michael, Ronald Lee Conner Jr., and James Charles Conner and wife Mariluz; grandchildren, Julia Conner, Molly Conner, Ryan Conner, Michael Steinmetz, and Conner Steinmetz; and an extended family including numerous sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated and inurnment will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery, Cumberland, with his wife. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
