CUMBERLAND – Ronald Gilbert Logue, 90, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the Coffman Nursing Home in Hagerstown, MD.

Born May 3, 1932 in Cumberland, he was a son of the late Harley and Blanche (Norman) Logue. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, of 57 years, Sylvia M. Logue. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by nine siblings; Harley, Mary, Bette, Bill, Rich, Colleen, Charles, Joanne and Gail; a daughter, Cynthia (Logue) Mayhew; grandson, Daniel Lynn Kline.

Ronald attended Fort Hill High School in Cumberland. He was a train enthusiast and attended many trains shows over the years with his "train buddies." He had an amazing love for animals, especially dogs. He walked many steps on the tow path. He loved the sunshine most of all.

Ronald served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict from 1952 to 1954.

He retired from the City of Cumberland, Street Department, with 29 years of service.

Ronald leaves behind daughter, Deanna Kline and family; step-daughter, Tammy Judy and family; step-son, David Buser and wife, Anita; sister, Deanna Logue; and brother, Joe Logue; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, MD, on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Interment will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery.
