Rosalie Ann Hoyle

February 6, 1945 - May 23, 2025

Rosalie Ann Hoyle, 80 years young and full of LOVE and LIFE, went HOME to HEAVEN to be with her Lord and Savior on 5/23/2025 at her residence in Fort Ashby, WV. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Louis R. Hoyle, her son Joseph D. Knouse, and one grandson Joshua Smith. Rose is survived by a loving sister MaryEllen & (Floyd) Franklin that reside in St. Mary's, MO, and her two loving daughters Kimberly Winschel, Ridgeley, WV and Christina & (Timothy) Puffenbarger, Fort Ashby, WV.

She was blessed with four special grandsons that called her "NAN", Jared Knouse & (Valerie Ohm), Nathan Puffenbarger & (Marina Toscano), Gregory (Lisa) Smith, and Eric (Amber) Smith. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and two great/great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

For those that were blessed to know Rose knew she LOVED God, church, family, friends, community, and her garden. Rose also LOVED her dog Annie Rose and a stray cat named Henri that she swore Pop had sent to her. Rose loved sitting on her beautifully curated porch listening to the fountain her son Joe gifted her, watching the birds and enjoying her garden view. Now, she is tending Gods garden in heaven with Pop. We would be remiss to say that her smile, laughter and ENDLESS love that she spread will be truly missed until we see her again.
