CUMBERLAND Roseanna "Sue" Park, 69, an angel on earth went to rest among angels on December 13, 2018. She passed away peacefully at home with the love of her life by her side.Born on September 11, 1949 to Hayes and Clara See, she was a long-time resident of Cumberland, MD.She worked at Sacred Heart Hospital/Western Maryland Health System for 25 years alongside her dear friends in the dietary department.Sue married Gene Daniel Park on December 29, 1973. This year they would have celebrated 45 years of wedded bliss. Together they raised two daughters, Deborah Ann, married to Bill Coons Jr., and Jacqueline Renee, married to Andrew Wolfe. She was blessed with two granddaughters Kayla Rose and Emily Sue both named after their "Granny".Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, tending to her rose garden, shopping for good deals, and traveling to England, the Bahamas, and most recently Hawaii.She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Carol "Edna" Houdersheldt and Betty Lou Miller, and one brother Forrest See. Surviving siblings include Donna Ray Spencer and Harold See, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.Sue lived life to the fullest. Every day was an adventure and she loved with all her heart. She was proud of the family she raised and all that she had accomplished in her life. She will be missed but her family is at peace knowing that she is smiling down on them from heaven.Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10 am with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating.
