RAWLINGS – Roy David Dolly, Jr., 70, of Rawlings, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at his residence. Born November 30, 1950, he was a son of the late Mary Elizabeth (Barnett) and Roy David Dolly, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia K. Dolly; daughter, Judy Dolly; step-son, Steven Michael Shoemaker; grandson, David Ray Dolly; brother, Dennis Dolly. Roy enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved camping, picking berries at Dolly Sods, going for car rides, and eating out at restaurants. He also liked to go to the general store. Surviving are children, Roy D. Dolly, III, and wife, Crystal, with whom Roy resided in Rawlings, Joseph Dolly, Sr. and wife, Melinda, Shepherdstown, WV, Danny Dolly and wife, Jennifer Coblentz, Tamaqua, PA, Shannon Hare, Florida; step-children, Patrick Conners, Sr., Cumberland, Mary Skipper, and husband, Tom, Bel Air, and Virginia Flanagan and Warren, Westernport; siblings, Janice Trail and husband, John, Beans Cove, PA, and Ricky Lee Dolly, Sr. and wife, Peggy Clark, LaVale; 26 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, Roy's body will be cremated, and there will be no formal funeral services. Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. is entrusted with final arrangements.
