CUMBERLAND Sandra Kay Parker, 70, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home in Cumberland.Born April 12, 1946, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Alton W. and Myrtle V. (Rittenour) Chaney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Sandra Wilhelm, and nephew, Shawn Hobell. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Sandra was a graduate of Fort Hill High School. She also studied business at Shepherd College. For 13 years, Sandra worked as a butcher, and was the manager of Snyder's Ham in Martinsburg, WV. She was involved in Animal Rescue through Petsmart in Winchester, VA. She was also a licensed hairdresser, and she loved to sew and crochet.Sandra is survived by special friend, Zelda Younger; step-son, Rodney L. Parker, Greensboro, NC; and her niece's dog, Earnhart.In accordance with Sandra's wishes, her body will be cremated, and there will be no visitation or services.Condolences for the family may be left at www.ScarpelliFH.com.
