FORT ASHBY, WV – Sandra "Sandy" Darlene Andrews, 80, of Fort Ashby, WV, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at home.

Born August 8, 1944, in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Virgil and Charlotte (Cuppett) Simpson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Franklin Robert Case; and grandson, Kegan Andrews.

Sandy was a graduate of Keyser High School and went on to work at Gabe's for a number of years. She liked to crochet, but most of all she enjoyed time with her family. Nothing made her happier than visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sandy leaves behind her children, Jacob H. Click, Jr. (Therese Bennett), James V. Case (Stephanie), Susan V. Ross, and Michelle L. Andrews; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Robert Simpson (Katie Ware), Tom Simpson (Joyce, with whom Sandy was very close), and Debbie Smith (Mike). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, MD on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 3 to 5pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5pm with Pastor Chan Hubbard officiating.

Inurnment in Potomac Memorial Gardens will be private.
