Saundra K Comer, 79, of Wiley Ford, passed away on January 10, 2023 at Complete Care at Dawnview Skilled Nursing Facility, Fort Ashby WV.

Born on December 26, 1943, in Wiley Ford, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha Houdersheldt. In addition to her parents, Saundra was preceded in death by her brother Franklin D. Houdersheldt and infant grandson, Jonathan Scott Wigger. While living in the area, Saundra worked at Miracle Mart, Kings Department Store, and Arthur Bond Furniture Store. While residing in Englewood Florida, she worked for Southern Church for 20 years.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years Harry W. Comer; their Daughter Lesa Wigger and husband John; one grandson Nathan Wigger and wife Kristin; three great grandsons, Silas, Keeden, and Jericho Wigger; one great granddaughter Bostyn Wigger; sister Sue Goss and husband Bill; brother Ivan Houdersheldt and wife Sarah; sisters in law, Marlene Comer, Chris Comer, and Phyllis Ruckman; brother in law Doug Comer and wife Karen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

At the request of Saundra, her body will be cremated.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Abe Cemetery, Old Furnace Rd, Ridgeley, WV with Rev. Carolyn Yacenech officiating.
