Sharon Louise Fredrick passed Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021.
Born in Monongahela, Pa., she was the daughter of Clarence and Wilma Friend McCrobie.
She was a former science professor at Allegany Community College; and she loved owls almost as much as she loved her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents; three brothers, Del, Kenny, and Kevin; one sister, Barbara; and granddaughter, Hannah.
She is survived by sons, Lloyd M. Hott II, Jacob D. Hott and wife, Gayle, Paul A Hott; and daughter, Melissa D. Congrove.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her surviving siblings are two brothers, Larry McCrobie and wife, Sharyn, of Youngstown, Ohio, and Roger McCrobie, of Jeanette, Pa.; and four sisters, Phyllis Welch and husband, Gary, of Keyser, W.Va., Hilda Bell, of Jeanette, Pa., Debra Welch and husband, Ken, of Limestone, N.Y., and Connie Simmons and husband, Brian, of Rawlings.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated. Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. is assisting with arrangements.
Celebration of Life will be at the Volunteer Fire Hall, Spring Street, Wiley Ford, W.Va., on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, from 2 to 6 p.m.
