CUMBERLAND – Shirley May (Stotler) Hickey, 84, of Cumberland, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

She was born February 12, 1939 to the late Evy Lee Stotler and Myrtle Irene (Bailey) Stotler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Frederick Hickey, Sr.; her oldest son, William Frederick Hickey, Jr.; her sister, Virginia Lee (Stotler) Seibert; and brothers, Lewis W. Stotler and Robert "Bob" N. Stotler.

Shirley graduated from Fort Hill High School, Class of 1957 and worked at Schwab Factory outlet for many years. She was a Methodist by faith.

She is survived by one sister, Barbara (Stotler) Broadwater; three children, Dennis P. Hickey and wife, Socorro Chavez-Hickey, Julie Anne Rapson and husband, Greg, Debra Veronica Blume and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Abigail Chavez, Heather Hickey, Christopher Hickey, Greg Rapson, Jr., Kaylyn Rapson, Tyler Zalewski, Autumn Ashley and Amber Ashley; great-grandchildren, Gunner Roy, Jace Rapson, Aelyn Rapson, Kade Roy and Khallen Barbe.

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Burial Park on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Douglas Seaman and Chaplain Paul Demers officiating.
