RIDGELEY, WV Shirley Ann Wright, 80, of Ridgeley, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Devlin Manor Health Care Center with her daughter by her side.Born in Cumberland on October 9, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Harry F. and Margaret L. (Speir) Kelso, Sr. of Ridgeley, WV. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Marvin Wright.She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Ann (Wright) George and husband Ray "Porky", Cresaptown; one granddaughter, Cheyenne George and boyfriend Terrell McGraw; one great-granddaughter, Ila McGraw; brother, Harry F. Kelso, Jr. and Sheryl Kelso; three nieces, Laura Kelso, Morgantown, WV, Mary Kimble and Chip, Fort Ashby, WV, Lindsey Shuman and Dayton of Newnan, GA; and five great nieces and nephews.Shirley was a graduate of Ridgeley High School class of 1953. She was involved in her high school alumni. Shirley was a former employee of Sacred Heart Hospital on Decatur Street in the pharmacy department. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Ridgeley, WV. She was also a member of a bowling league at White Oaks, and enjoyed going to bingo.She was an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.
