RAWLINGS – Stephen W. Shook, Sr., 69, of Rawlings, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at UPMC Western Maryland. Born on November 14, 1950, in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Clarence and Evelyn Shook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Eileen Sines, Mary Ann Kesner, and Waneta Hawkins; and brother, Alfred Shook. Stephen served his country in the United States Army from 1969-1971 in Vietnam, and also served in the National Guard. He attended Cumberland Community Church. Stephen retired from Anchor Glass Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Donna Shook, Rawlings; brother, Clarence "Bill" Shook; children, Sherri Flick and husband John, Centreville, MD, Steve Shook, Jr. and wife Kristie, Clearville, PA, and Stacy Hartman and husband Adam, Cumberland; grandchildren, Kristina, John Jr., Stephanie, Halie, Jayden, Michael, Janna, Cohen, and Eli; great-grandchildren, Gianna, Audrina, Avery, Kyler, Legend, and Aubree; as well as many special nephews and nieces, and "Woman." Family and friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Friday, August 7, 2020, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 12 p.m. with Pastor John Flick officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Biertown Cemetery.
