CUMBERLAND- Stuart Wayne Joy, 43, of Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016.Born on July 16, 1972, in Virginia, he was the son of David Joy and the late Eileen Allen Joy.Stuart served his country in the United States Army. Stuart was employed by the Legacy Moving Company. He enjoyed fishing, walking his dog Pepper, playing video games, Hot Stove Baseball, and spending time with his two sons.Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife, Lori Joy; two sons, Trenton Logsdon and Draven Logsdon; his sister, Tisha Lloyd; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.As per his request, he will be cremated.A Committal Service will be conducted at the Chapel at Maryland State Veteran's Cemetery, Rocky Gap on Friday, March 25, at 1:00 p.m. with Honor Guard Chaplain Bob Lloyd officiating.Military Honors will be accorded by the Post 13 Veteran's Honor Guard.Those wishing to honor Stuart's memory may do so by making donations to the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, MD 21502, to assist in defraying the funeral expenses.Arrangements are entrusted to the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland.Condolences for the family may be left at www.ScarpelliFH.com or on our Facebook page.
