CUMBERLAND Sydna Ann (Storer) Durst, 76, of Cumberland, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019.Born on April 17, 1943, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Sidney H. and Mary (Dietrich) Storer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Edward Dietrich Durst; and her brother, Charles Storer.Sydna attended Saints Peter & Paul Elementary, Ursuline Academy, and Fort Hill High School. Sydna had a love for her family and animals of all kinds especially horses. She enjoyed spending time on her back porch, feeding birds and watching the deer.She is survived by her loving husband of 61 and a half years, David A. Durst, Cumberland; daughter, DeChantle Marie Leasure and husband Steve, Cumberland; four grandchildren, including her favorite grandson, David C. Leasure, Cumberland; four great-grandchildren; and her cat and sidekick, Nose.In accordance with Sydna's wishes, she will be cremated, and there will be no services.
