CUMBERLAND – Sylvia Marie Logue, 85, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020, at her daughter's home in Ridgeley, WV. Born February 4, 1935, in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Edith (Bowman) Buser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Buser; daughter, Cynthia (Logue) Mayhew; grandson, Daniel Lynn Kline. Sylvia attended Ridgeley High School. She was a lifetime member of the Goodfellowship Club in Cumberland. She had an amazing love for animals, especially dogs, and music, mostly traditional country. She was known for her crazy sense of humor, joke-telling, and a nurturing, fun-loving soul. Sylvia leaves behind her husband, Ronald Gilbert Logue; son, David Buser and wife, Anita; daughters, Tammy (Buser) Judy and husband, Kip Jenkins, and Deanna (Logue) Kline and husband, Wes Tipton; sister, Jackie VanMeter; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Friday, August 28, 2020, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 11 a.m. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior.
