Theresa Ann "Terry" (Bergner) Bowman, of Bel-Air, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 11, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Frederick A. and Blanche A. (Fieseler) Bergner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael A. Bowman; brother, Frederick A. Bergner; sister, Joanne F. Turka, and in-laws, Gordon H. "Mike" and Londa R. (Davis) Bowman. Terry was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Terry was a former Heart Queen. She was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy of Philadelphia and Frostburg State with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Supervision.

Terry was born to be a Teacher. She began her career at Johnson Heights School and retired from Bel-Air Elementary. After 35 years, she taught C.C.D. at St. Ambrose Church for numerous years until health issues forced her to retire.

Terry is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Michael G. Bowman; son, Michael P. Bowman; daughter, Krista Bowman; sisters-in-law, Linda Bowman and Donna Bergner; brother-in-law, Donald Turka and her grandchildren, Xavier, Kamden, Octaviah, Bailey and Aurora.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and services will be private.
