Thomas Charles Brown, 69, of Fort Ashby, WV., passed from this earthly life into the eternal hands of his heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Tom was born on July 19, 1953, Cumberland, Maryland, to the late Tom and Betty (House) Brown. He was preceded in death by one brother, Greg Brown (Kristy).

Tom is survived by his wife, Karen D. Brown, and son, Thomas Jonathan Brown, of Fort Ashby. He is also survived by Shanin Lee (Chris), Elissa Wagoner (Jeff Fletcher), and grandchildren, Dylan Abe, Darek Abe, Grace Abe, Andrea Reeder, Madison Reeder, Jake Reeder, along with Parker Lee, Kylen Lee, Nick Fletcher, McKenzie Fletcher, Kaden Fletcher, and one great-grandchild, Raylee Fletcher. Tom is also survived by one brother, Gary Brown (Phyllis) and a sister, Linda James (Ray).

Tom retired from the City of Cumberland. He attended Central Assembly of God, Cumberland, Maryland. For many years, Tom volunteered in the Royal Rangers program.

In times of health, Tom enjoyed biking, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. Tom and Karen opened their home for many family gatherings throughout the years. Tom was very fond of his dog, Isa, and Jonathan's dog, Ben. Tom enjoyed sharing stories about animals.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Central Assembly of God. Funeral services will immediately follow with the Reverend Doug Seaman officiating.

Interment will be at the Fort Ashby Cemetery.
