Thomas "Tommy" Floyd Stallings, Sr., 60, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 at UPMC-Western Maryland.

Born January 22, 1965, in Cumberland, he was a son of Joan Kathryn (Robinette) Stallings and the late Gilbert LeRoy Stallings. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tami Stallings; two infant brothers, Gilbert Eugene Stallings and Michael Edward Stallings; sisters-in-law, Deborah Stallings, Debbie Stallings, Debra Stallings, Diana Stallings, Cassie Clise, and Sylvia Platter.

Tommy attended Fort Hill High School before enlisting in the United States Army. After serving his country in the military, he became a truck driver, and once he became a father he also worked in blacktop for many years.

He loved attending St. Mary's Catholic Church with his mother, and he also enjoyed hunting and camping. Tommy was a true people-person who never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Tommy is survived by, in addition to his mother, Joan, his loving wife of almost seven years, Mary M. (McMillan) Stallings; children, Thomas Floyd Stallings, Jr., Breanna Stallings, Kelly Riggleman, Katie Shrader, and their siblings who he helped to raise; a number of grandchildren, many of whom referred to him as "Pap"; brothers, Russell Stallings and wife Deb, Mark Stallings and wife Noreen, Gary Stallings and wife Roberta, Pete Stallings, Jody Stallings and girlfriend Diane, Gilbert Stallings and wife Jody; sisters, Maria Stallings, and Monica Davis and husband Rob; siblings-in-law, Charles McMillan, Bobby McMillian, James McMillan, Linda Frenzel, and Judy Wilson. Tommy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD, on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 6 to 8pm.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, March 21, at 11am with Rev. Harold R. McClay, Jr. officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
