WILEY FORD, WV – Virginia Elizabeth (Wilson) Mongold, 79, of Wiley Ford, WV, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Born April 7, 1944, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Merle Leasure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Mongold in 2001; and two brothers, George and Lester Wilson.

Virginia was a 1962 graduate of Fort Hill High School. She attended church services at Liberty Christian Fellowship every Sunday morning. She was also fond of gardening; she had many house plants and grew tomatoes in her outdoor beds.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Brian L. Mongold and fiancée, Jennifer Zirk, and Larry A. Mongold; grandchildren, Jackie Wolters and husband, Gerd, and Ryan Mongold; great-grandchildren, Leana and Joanna.

Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 2 to 4pm.
