Wayne Lee Crock, 90, of Cumberland, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Born July 22, 1936, in Oldtown, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Edna (Hartman) Crock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all of his siblings; sisters, Hazel Barbe, Lona Livingood, and Helen Younker; and brothers, Willis, Roy, and John Crock.

Mr. Crock had a long career as a dry wall contractor. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Wayne was a man of God and attended several area churches. He was a member of the Eagles, Cumberland Democrat Club, Kennells Mill Hunting Club, Eagle Hunting Club, Post 13 American Legion, Glencoe Sportsmen Club, and the Cumberland Outdoor Club.

He was an avid outdoorsmen and loved hunting and fishing; as well as spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends.

He is survived by his large extended family including many nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friends who were his grandchildren, Bambi Willingham (Ryan), Skylar Ross and her son Daxton; and Brayden and Mason Wooldridge.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23rd from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia, Avenue, Cumberland. A funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 12:00pm with Pastor Jeremy Adams officiating.

Interment will be in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by the Ft. Cumberland Post 13 Honor Guard.
