Wayne Henry Myers, Jr., of Cumberland, passed from this life on Sunday, April 8, 2018, after a long illness.He was born in Washington, D.C. He was the son of Mary Crawford Goss and the late James Goss. He is survived by his fianc, Penny Miller of Cumberland, and his mother Mary Crawford Goss of Cumberland. He is also survived by two daughters: Denise Harley of Cranesville, WV and Jenniver VanGilder and husband Tim of Fairmont, WV, one sister Debbie Holtschneider of Cumberland, four grandchildren Derek Lord, Leeanna Lord, Akira VanGilder, Xander VanGilder, and one great granddaughter, Liliannah Sines, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter Christine Myers.Viewing and funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 15 N Smallwood St, Cumberland. Viewing will be from 10am until noon, with the funeral at noon. Graveside services at Restlawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service.The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made toward funeral expenses.
