CUMBERLAND – Yvonne Ruth Kinser, 84, of Cumberland, MD, passed away on November 12, 2020. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Kinser, who died in 2002. She was born March 25, 1936, the daughter of the late Clarence Herbert Harper and Ruth Daily (Humbertson) Harper. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy M. (Harper) Porter, in 1979. Yvonne was a 1955 graduate of Fort Hill High School who loved attending the football games with her friends every year. She was a long-time member of Rawlings United Methodist Church and currently attended Danville Community Baptist Church. She was a strong Christian woman who had belonged to the Rawlings United Methodist Women's Group and enjoyed attending bible study with her new church family. She was also an active volunteer within the community. She was a beautiful soul in and out, loving mother, sister, daughter, friend, and mimi/grandma to her multiple grandchildren. Yvonne was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a kind and caring person who was always willing to help others and touched so many lives. She loved spending time with her family and friends and had an incredible bond with her group of classmates from high school that met monthly. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy R. Kinser, Cumberland, Karen R. Fischer and husband, Tom, Frederick, and Kathleen R. Wallace and husband, Kevin, Cumberland; seven grandchildren, Brandie M. Walls, Cherie R. Weasenforth, Seth T. Fischer, Bryce A. Fischer, Eli N. Wallace, Caedon R. Wallace, and Avery B. Wallace; three great-grandchildren, Courtney D. Chalupka, Kaiden A. Walls, and Kamren J. Williams; and a brother, Walter C. "Buddy" Harper. Due to the pandemic, attendance is limited to family only for the funeral service at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. The family hopes to have a Celebration of Life ceremony at a later date.
