CENTERVILLE, PA Zella J. "Joann" Llewellyn, 83, of Centerville, Pa., passed away on Sunday September 18, 2016 at home.Born on September 10, 1933 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William and Lula (Myers) Abbott. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Julie Marie (married to James Cessna).Joann was a graduate of Allegany High School Class of 1951. She then married her husband David, whom she wed on March 6, 1951. They spent their 65 years together and most of their married life working on the family dairy farm in Cumberland Valley Township. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Zella loved sitting on her front porch looking out over the farm, and going for rides with Dave on the Rhino to visit the farm. Above all, she loved spending time with all her family. Joann was a kind and loving lady, and a wonderful cook. She will be sadly missed by all.Surviving are her husband of 65 years, David Llewellyn; her children, Donald Lee Llewellyn and wife Sharon (Heavner) of Bedford, Susan Kay (Llewellyn) Ross and husband Raymond of Cresaptown, Sandra Jo (Llewellyn) Price and husband George of Bedford, Steven David Llewellyn and wife Susan (Slocum) of Bedford, and Debra Ann (Llewellyn) Mattas and husband J. Lynn of Bedford; her sister Betty Jane (Abbott) Taylor and husband George "Joe" of Ridgely WVa.; nine grandchildren, Kim, Amanda, Rachael, Cindy, Jon, Mike, Josh, Dee, Chelsea; six great-grandchildren, Ashley, Shana, Storm, Zoey, RJ, Peyton, and "one on the way"; and one great-great granddaughter Raelynn.Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m.A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor George Loar officiating.
